It reads public blockchain data; it never connects to your wallet. You paste a public wallet address or transaction hash, choose the network, and USDTCheck looks at the token behind the balance or transfer.
A familiar name or logo is not enough to identify a token. The useful identifier is the on-chain contract, mint or Jetton master. USDTCheck compares that identifier with the USDT or USDT0 reference used for the selected network.
USDT is represented differently across networks. USDTCheck uses Tether-published identifiers on TRON, Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana and TON; USDT0 references on Polygon, Arbitrum One and Plasma; and the widely used BNB Chain USDT-6D8 / BSC representation on BNB Smart Chain.
Why this exists: Block explorers already contain this information, but the details are easy to miss if you do not work with token contracts every day. USDTCheck turns the same public data into a simpler answer and keeps the explorer link available for anyone who wants to verify it manually.
One important limit: matching the token reference tells you what asset is involved. It does not prove that a sender, recipient, wallet owner, business or investment is trustworthy. Any public warning or attribution shown by the checker is separate context.

If USDTCheck saved you time or helped you verify a wallet or transaction, you can help keep the free public checker available.
These three guides cover the questions most people ask after a result.
The check is deliberately narrow: USDTCheck reads public blockchain data, identifies the token behind the wallet balance or transfer, and compares it with the reference for the selected network. Nothing needs to be signed and there is no wallet-connection step.
This is not a reputation score. A contract match answers a token-identity question; it does not tell you whether the person or business on the other side of a payment is trustworthy.
To use the tool, users only need to:
The tool then checks whether the wallet balance or transaction matches the USDT contract reference used for the selected network. Where supported, it can also show separate factual context such as a token-contract control status (Tether blacklist or USDT0 block status where applicable), a sourced wallet attribution, and public explorer warning indications. These signals are shown separately and are not combined into a safety score.
This is only an index explaining what each risk status means. It is not a warning about the current wallet or transaction unless the result itself shows that status.
If you already know how to use blockchain explorers, you do not need to use this tool. You can do the same check manually by pasting the transaction hash or wallet address into the correct explorer:
The important thing is not just the token name or logo. The important thing is whether the token or transaction matches the correct contract reference for that network and how that asset is represented there.
Names and logos are easy to copy. Someone can create another token called “USDT” or use a familiar-looking icon. The useful check is the underlying contract, mint or Jetton master on the network where the transfer actually happened.
The wallet checker asks the selected network for the balance tied to the expected token reference. It is the same kind of public information you can inspect manually on a block explorer, presented in a simpler form.
Every useful result includes an explorer route where one is available, so you can inspect the underlying public record yourself instead of relying only on USDTCheck’s summary.
Start with the network the transfer actually used, then paste the public wallet address or transaction hash. USDTCheck compares the token involved with the reference expected on that network.
You can verify a public wallet address or transaction hash without wallet connection. USDTCheck.app is read-only and does not require private keys, seed phrases, or token approvals.
Yes. Names and artwork can be copied. The stronger identifier is the underlying contract, mint or Jetton master, which is why the checker compares that value rather than trusting what a wallet interface happens to display.
USDTCheck.app supports TRON (TRC20), Ethereum (ERC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Polygon, Arbitrum One, Plasma, Avalanche C-Chain, Solana and TON. Polygon, Arbitrum and Plasma are checked against USDT0 contract references; Avalanche uses Tether-issued USD₮ on C-Chain, Solana is checked against Tether's published USD₮ token mint, and TON against Tether's published USD₮ Jetton master.
The official TRC20 USDT contract is TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t.
The official ERC20 USDT contract is 0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7.
USDTCheck uses 0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955 for BNB Smart Chain checks. BNB Chain identifies this asset as USDT-6D8 / a BSC USDT representation. Tether’s current supported-protocol page does not list this address as a native BNB Smart Chain USD₮ contract, so the site does not describe it as Tether-issued BSC USD₮.
Tether lists 0x9702230A8Ea53601f5cD2dc00fDBc13d4dF4A8c7 as the USD₮ contract on Avalanche. USDTCheck compares Avalanche wallet balances and transfers with that exact contract.
Tether lists Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB as the USD₮ mint on Solana. USDTCheck checks this exact mint rather than relying on a token name or logo.
Tether lists EQCxE6mUtQJKFnGfaROTKOt1lZbDiiX1kCixRv7Nw2Id_sDs for USD₮ on TON. USDTCheck uses that Jetton master as the token identifier for TON checks.
Yes. Wallet and transaction checks are free and do not require payment. If the tool is useful, users may voluntarily contribute toward maintenance, infrastructure and continued development so the public checker can remain free.
🔴 means a public warning or risk label was found. 🟢 means no public risk tag was found. ⚪ means such public risk metadata is not currently available from the configured public source. This is not a guarantee of safety.
Public explorer pages can be temporarily unavailable, rate-limited, or may not expose the same warning detail on every network. “Not available” is neutral; the contract-reference check still runs independently of this optional explorer context.
